Public art makes LaGrange County a more vibrant place to live and LaGrange County Arts has a strong track record working collaboratively with businesses and organizations to realize public art projects of different sizes and scopes.

Current & Past Public Art

heritage sculpture

Still in production is a metal sculpture to be placed on the Courthouse lawn that pays homage to the natural resources and manufacturing heritage of the County (it began at the request of the CVB and became a partnership with County Officials).

holiday postcards

We collaborate with LaGrange County schools to place large painted (by art students) postcards on the Courthouse lawn in December each year for the public to enjoy.

A mural is in development for the Mongo Community, in partnership with Andy Linder, Mongo Association, and CVB.
